The City of Oxnard Housing Authority Capital Fund Program is soliciting bids from
qualified contractors for a Residential Rehabilitation and Remodel Project at one housing
site in Oxnard, California, as described in the scope of work and specifications.

The project scope includes, but is not limited to: the conversion of two existing 1 story 5-
bedroom units to two 504 units on the ground floor and two non-ADA units on the second
floor at 5191 and 5201 Squires Drive in Oxnard, California.

Contractor shall be skilled and regularly engaged in the general class or type of work
called for in the solicitation documents. All bidders must possess a current valid
California State Contractor’s Class B license at the time of bid submission. The
contractor to whom award is made, shall obtain and possess a City of Oxnard Business
Tax Certificate by the time of contract award.

Bid, Payment and Performance bonds are required for this project. The successful
Contractor shall acquire and maintain at his/her own expense all insurances required in
the Invitation for Bid (IFB) throughout the term of the project.

This project is subject to wage requirements of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts
(29 CFR Part 5) and the Section 3 Act of 1968 (24 CFR Part 75).

Estimated Construction Cost: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for March 29, 2021 at 9:00 AM at 5191
Squires Drive.

available at the prospective Bidder’s cost (non-refundable) for printing and delivery
starting on Monday, March 8, 2021 from Coast Reprographics, contact: Brian Ehler,

Bid due date: Bids for the project will be accepted no later than 3:00 p.m., on or
